Jaime has earned many awards for his films, radio and television shows both in North American and europe.  He received the National Journalism Award from the Journalists Club of Mexico in 11983, 1987 and 1993.  He was presented wthe "AMPRYT" award fro the  TV prograam "60 Minutoes" in 1990-91-92.  His investigations into the still on-going Mexico UFO wave have garnered worldwide acclaim and he has been invited to speak at conferences around the world.  Jaime Maussan was born in 1953 in Mexico City.  After one yearr aat the National Autonomous University on Mexico (1972-73) he attended Miami University (Ohio) and graduated with a B.A. in Radio and Television.  During his college years, he was Midwest Correspondent and sports reporter for  Televisa (Mexico).

 

Forteans and the general public alike are familiar with "Grays" and other strange humanoids associated with UFO's and "alien abductions," and also with "Hairy Hominids" of the "Bigfoot"/"Yeti" type. Less familiar to many of us, however, are the numerous reports of various types of bizarre humanoids that do not seem to be associated with unusual craft, and also do not resemble popular or scientific concepts of our hominid evolutionary ancestors or cousins, such as the Neanderthals, Homo erectus, the Australopihecines, or Gigantopithecus. 
 

These anomalous humanoids include dwarfs resembling the fairies, gnomes, leprechauns, menehune, and other "Little People" of traditional legend and folklore. They also include an assortment of reptilian-looking "frog-men" and "lizard-men." Most puzzling of all, they include quite human-looking but weirdly diminutive "Mini-Men" 6 to 18 inches tall. Such "Mini-Men" were encountered, for instance, by 3 Texas farm boys in 1913, by a French priest in 1945 near Rene`ve in Burgundy, by an Oregon woman in 1950, by four schoolboys and a policeman near Ibague`, Colombia in 1973, and by a little boy and a young woman near Dunn, NC in October 1976. There is also a curious, little-known history of mini-saucers disgorging diminutive ufonauts--a phenomenon for some unknown reason particularly common in Malaysia, but also occasionally encountered elswehere (as in Seattle WA in 1965).

My talk will give a brief overview of these bizarre anomalous humanoid reports, especially the "Mini-Men." I see them as genuinely perplexing mysteries--"experience anomalies," as Jerome Clark has called them--for which I have no ready explanation--especially the "Mini-Men."

Rob will be speaking with us about the '52 Washington D.C. sightings.  His talk is UFO's:  The Shape of Things That Came.  If the UFO phenomenon is ever embraced by mainstream science and academia as a legitimate field of study, it will be due in no small part to  physical trace cases.  They provide the grist scientists seek: Hard evidence they can move under a microscope.  Rob Swiatek--an executive committee member of the Fund for UFO Research--will spotlight three classic CE--II's that lately have been reinvestigated.  These cases have produced unanticipated and intriguing results!  He'll also give a brief overview of a coordinated attempt using instrument packages to establish a physical basis for abductions!

Lynn will share the experiences she had with a UFO as a child living in Trenton, NJ.  A fuller understanding of the incident came later in life.  As directors of DEL VAL UFO Anthony and Lynn had a major UFO event while visiting a famous abductee in Florida, Lydia Stalnaker (regressed by Dr. Harder).  They will also share a sculpture and message channeled through Anthony by ARTEMIS, a space king~ and will explain how the space people interact with earth people.
